BRIEF HISTORY OF DEPARTMENT WITH RECENT ACHIEVEMENT
The Department started as a Unit in 1986 with Dr. Quadri running the Eye Clinic once a week on voluntary basis. He was later joined by Dr. (Mrs.) Onabolu, an Honorary Consultant. The Unit became a full Department in April 1999. The Department has successfully trained nine (9) Consultants Ophthalmologist.
